By using BhooMeter, you acknowledge that we may collect and use information as described in this policy.

The categories of information we may collect depend on the features you use.

• Account information such as your name, email address, phone number, login details, and profile information when you create or access an account.
• Location information, including precise or approximate location, when you use GPS-based measurement, walking measurement, tractor tracking, or related location features.
• Measurement and project information such as land boundaries, saved projects, selected locations, valuation inputs, FSI inputs, notes, and related measurement history.
• Device and app information such as device model, operating system, app version, language, push token, identifiers used by third-party SDKs, and diagnostic information.
• Transaction information related to subscriptions, purchases, refunds, or billing events processed through authorized payment providers.
• Communications and support information when you contact us for help, feedback, account issues, or service requests.

3. How We Use Information

• To create and manage user accounts.
• To provide GPS-based, map-based, manual, tractor, valuation, and FSI-related product features.
• To save, sync, restore, and manage land measurements and project history.
• To process subscriptions, purchases, billing events, and customer support requests.
• To send important service messages, notifications, or account-related communication.
• To maintain app security, prevent abuse, investigate fraud, and troubleshoot technical issues.

4. Location Data

BhooMeter uses location data to support measurement and land-mapping workflows. Depending on the feature and device permission granted, location may be accessed while the app is in use and, for supported GPS measurement workflows, during an active background-tracking session started by the user.

If background location is enabled on your device, it is intended to support continuity of an active measurement session when the screen turns off or the app is briefly minimized. You can change location permissions at any time in your device settings.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We may share information with service providers or technology partners that help us operate the service, such as hosting, authentication, mapping, notifications, advertising, payments, or support tools.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to enforce agreements, or in connection with a business transfer permitted by law.

6. Ads, Analytics, and Third-Party SDKs

If advertising, analytics, messaging, payments, or sign-in SDKs are used in the app, those providers may process device or usage-related information according to their own policies and contractual arrangements with BhooMeter.

BhooMeter does not use background location for advertising or passive all-day monitoring.

7. Data Retention and User Choices

• You may review or update certain account information inside the app or by contacting us.
• You may revoke location, notification, or other device permissions through your device settings.
• We may retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain security records.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect personal information. However, no method of storage, transmission, or security control is completely guaranteed.

9. Children's Privacy

BhooMeter is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
